The University of South Australia will develop two specialist postgraduate degrees as part of a $60 million skills training overhaul for the defence industry announced by Defence Minister Joel Fitzgibbon on Saturday.

Creation of DASI
The University of South Australia has announced the creation of a new Defence and Systems
Institute (DASI) at Mawson Lakes campus, set to operate as world leader in research and
education in complex systems from January 2007.
